Victoria was born in Limeira, a city in São Paulo recognised as Brazil’s plated jewellery capital. In this city, jewellery is not just an industry; it is part of daily life. More than 450 companies export plated pieces worldwide, and entire streets revolve around the craft: designing, casting, plating, polishing and finishing, side by side.

When she moved to the Netherlands, she noticed something unexpected. The jewellery was beautiful but often felt interchangeable, either too trend-driven or priced out of reach. She missed the warmth and confidence of Brazilian design, pieces that make you feel more like yourself.

After years of wearing jewellery from Brazil and receiving constant compliments, Victoria and her husband Laurens saw the opportunity. There was space for something different.

In 2024, they founded LaVi. A name that carries both of them: “La” from Laurens and “Vi” from Victoria.

LaVi was created to unite two aesthetics: the expressive soul of Brazil and the refined minimalism of Europe. Brazilian craft, interpreted for a modern European wardrobe. Effortless. Timeless. Elevated.

Each piece is finished with up to 10 microns of gold, a premium level of plating that enhances durability and helps preserve its colour and character over time, not just for a season.
